Meet Geri Preisser - Owner

In 1980, Geri made her first trip to Walt Disney World and instantly fell in love with the storylines that she found in the Magic Kingdom.  Her second trip was on her honeymoon in 1985 and in 1993 she introduced her son to the wonder of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  In, 1993 she and her family moved to Melbourne, Florida and quickly become annual pass holders. Geri and her family would often head over to Disney World for just a day, spend a weekend or just go over for dinner in the World Showcase.  In 1997, her family made a move to Kentucky for her husband's job, but vowed she would come back every year - and she did!  Each year, they would head back to Florida for a family vacation introducing a second son to the wonders of Disney.  

After planning family vacations each year, going herself more than once a year and watching the park expand from one park to four parks, she became the go-to person for family and friends who wanted to visit what she called "her happy place."  

"It become so much fun helping others plan their vacations, that in 2008 I answered an ad in the Family Fun Magazine to become a Disney World Specialist," Geri said.  

She worked with this host agency for about 4 months and realized she could do better in what she could offer her clients if she was on her own - out of her passion for all things Disney - 

House of Mouse Travel was born! 

Since her first trip in 1980, Geri has been to the parks well over 100 times, has sailed on all the Disney Cruise ships over 15 times, has spent time in Disneyland and at Aulani, Disney's resort in Hawaii.  She continues to expand her knowledge as Disney expands their offerings.

In 2011, House of Mouse Travel earned the distinction of being named an EarMarked Agency earning the designation of An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  The highest level of recognition given to travel agencies by Disney.  

She brings all of her first hand knowledge to her clients and treats everyone of her clients as family.

In 2015, Geri moved to Houston,Texas and has continued serving all her clients all over the United States. Being so close to the Port of Galveston, she expanded House of Mouse Travel to include other cruise lines.
